Forces on the plane are no longer distributed throughout the entire wing, for instance, but concentrated at the glue joints because they are a sharply dissimilar material. This will cause a failure at or adjacent to the glue line.

2024年10月25日 · For a long time I used Masonite. The tempered hardboard. I would put a dab of hot glue on the part, press it on the lines I drew on the hardboard. I later would use a super lite spray of 3M77 on the back of plans, press onto the hardboard. Worked pretty well. The small dabs of hot glue held well and were easy to pull off the finished parts.
