2011年4月18日 · I picked up ShopLine JP202 2K Primer Surfacer, Omni Epoxy primer MP170, Omni MBC base, and ShopLine JC630 4.2 Polyurethane clear. Quart of each. Local supplier is a PPG platinum dealer and had no issues mixing the paint lines (Omni and ShopLine). I have experience with both lines over the years, just not the epoxy.

2012年8月25日 · Epoxy primers have to be topcoated withing a certain timeframe or have to be sanded or re-primed. Someone else more familiar with PPG primer could tell you which would be the best surfacing primer to use with the mp 170. The part of the scan compatable surfaces may give you some idea of ppg primers you could use.

2004年7月24日 · If you do decide to use a sealer, get a quart of DP90LF. it's a black epoxy primer/sealer. Mix it with DP401/402 and cut it a little with some DT885. A mix ratio of 4:2:1 will work well.

2012年2月24日 · I have personally used the Omni epoxy primer after switching from regular PPG DP40 (at that time). While the Omni epoxy is suppose to be close to regular DP, it is not. We used it in the shop for about one and a half years, and actually at that time, had a few cars come back for peel due to the epoxy primer.
