2023年12月31日 · Even after installing HEVC video extension from Microsoft Store, I am getting only the HD logo in the Netflix app although the display settings under control panel is showing 4K resolution (and obviously the contents are available in 4K). I also have checked the player info (Ctrl+alt+shift+D) and it is showing 1920 x 1080,mp4, avc.

2021年11月1日 · I was able to install the Windows Store, install the HEVC codec ($0.99) from the store and install the Netflix app (free) and the Dolby Access (free). The above combo has the Netflix app and Edge browser Netflix working for "4K" and Atmos. I put 4K in parantheses because we all know it's heavily compressed. As is the audio.

This means that its 1) In 4K and 2) Colors are superior HDR compared to just regular 4K HDR. While these shows look good, they just look like better versions of HD.
