2010年11月28日 · Lupara originally referred to an Italian double barrel that came with IC barrels and were filled with buckshot to be used on wolves by herders. A fair number were chambered in 10 gauge. Later as it became common place to cut both ends off of a double for dispatching human wolves the term Lupara followed.
2006年5月29日 · Having made two 18.5" shotguns (semiauto and O/U) and fired many other barely legal shotguns, I will tell you that even with 18.5" barrels, a sawed-off double is a) quite handy and b) fierce with full-power loads.
2006年3月11日 · The word Lupara seems to be refering to the word for wolf,although a Lupara is a type of whiting found in Italy and may refer to "dead as a fish". Italian journalists sometimes refer to a "lupara bianco" (white lupara) when a Mafia murder is commited but the body is not found.
