Feb 25, 2023 · After going to our county fair last year, I decided I would enter this year. Been stitching about 20 years but never done a fair before. I picked out a pattern from my to-do pile that I wanted to enter, did it in January (about 75 hours) & entered last week.

Aug 16, 2023 · In my state, you can enter any piece in any county even if you don't reside in that county. It just can't have been shown in that fair (state or local county) before. The enterance fee was minimal - under $10 for my home county. I haven't found that is varies from this at other counties or at the state level.

Aug 12, 2023 · My state fair has categories for full coverage, regular cross stitch, a cross stitch made into something like a pillow or ornament or a 3-D/stuffed stand up. Last year I entered a regular cross stitch , a pillow, and a stuffed stand up.
