EPIPEN ® (epinephrine injection, USP) 0.3 mg and EPIPEN JR ® (epinephrine injection, USP) 0.15 mg Auto-Injectors are used to treat allergic emergencies (anaphylaxis). Anaphylaxis can be life threatening and happen within minutes. If untreated, anaphylaxis can cause death.

EPIPEN ® and EPIPEN JR Auto-Injectors are for the emergency treatment of life-threatening allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) caused by allergens, exercise, or unknown triggers; and for people who are at increased risk for these reactions.
Each EpiPen or EpiPen Jr contains a single dose of epinephrine for single-use injection. Since the doses of epinephrine delivered from EpiPen or EpiPen Jr are fixed, consider using other forms of injectable epinephrine if doses lower than 0.15 mg are deemed necessary.
The EpiPen Auto-Injector and EpiPen Jr Auto-Injector (henceforth referred to as EpiPen and EpiPen Jr Auto-Injector) each contain 2 mL epinephrine solution.
