2022年12月2日 · GT was only canon to the anime since it was an original creation from the company. And 8t followed right after Z but now it's more of an alternative story or universe. Super is now the truly canon of dragon ball if you like it or not, since it continues the story after the anime and manga from the creator this time.
Is GT worth watching/is there a good guide to what to skip?
Yes, despite all the only-partially-deserved flak it gets, GT is very much worth watching. There's no good reason to outright skip any of it, as it's only 64 episodes (plus one TV special) and it goes by pretty quick. Just make sure you're watching in the original Japanese. The English dub is somehow even worse than Z's, which is no small feat.

2022年11月18日 · Dbz was colorful and vibrant so it was enjoyable to me. But ssj 4, I grew to LOVE. I just wished it was golden in color. GT is definitely worth the watch, the quality is hit or miss, especially since it lives up to the "GT- Goku time" cause man... Wtf. But Baby Vegeta arc is absurdly good. The shadow dragons is 50/50.
