2017年1月22日 · The bigger aloes could go into 1 gallon pots, the smaller ones maybe 6 inch pots, or 3 per 8 inch pot. Once they are going strong and start putting out new leaves you can consider moving them up a size. A single rosette of Aloe vera can fill a 10 inch pot (3 gallon) pot on its own over time, before it needs separating or expanding from there.

2018年7月23日 · The watering is determined by how fast the soil dries out. Try to water when the soil is going dry at depth. Sooner than that too often, the soil stays moist all the time, and the roots will rot off. So water well, wait a week or two (if this is an indoor plant), check, and water again. Poke your finger into the soil to figure out how moist it is.

2019年4月5日 · If your Aloe plant was in the black pot shown in the photo, I think that is one of the reasons for root rot occurring. That pot is way too large for the size of the plant. You can leave the Aloe in a dry spot for two to three days to allow it to callous/heal over, before re-potting.

2020年5月6日 · So I seem to have some root rot on my poor baby aloe. I noticed some dark spots on some of the leaves and recently noticed that all the leaves were looking quite limp and sad. Took it out of the pot to inspect and lo and behold! Many roots were no longer even attached to the plant they were so rotten.

Get a tray to catch the soil , Hold the plant around the stem with one hand (somewhere between the middle and base ,wherever you can get a hold ) and the pot with the other hand .
