What would be considered Normal level of Aldosterone?
2017年11月3日 · My aldosterone test was normal yet blood tests kept showing mild dehydration. Dr Tetlebaum has written cfsers drink like fish and piss like a race horses. A normal urine output for an adult is 1 to 1.5ltrs in 24hrs. I did my own 24hr urine test and definitely pissed like a racehorse with a flooding 10litre urine output in 24hrs.

2018年5月30日 · 0.9-28.9 Ratio <-- (normal range) So my Aldosterone level is at '1' with a renin of .71 and ratio of the two at 1.4, right? But what I don't understand (one of the many things here and with the situation), is that there's no 'low' number for the range. So how are people ever diagnosed with hypoaldosteronism (low aldosterone levels)??

2013年6月25日 · I got my aldosterone checked, as I thought I had LOW aldosterone and possibly diabetes insipidus. It's actually very high at 1730 pmol/L and I'm really stumped. Renin was in range at 25 (5-75). Ratio of aldosterone to renin is 68, with the accompanying comment reading "possible aldosteronism".

2013年5月4日 · A level of 4 on most lab ranges is technically normal but most people need to be in the upper half of the range to have sufficient aldosterone to prevent OI. Are you taking the progesterone all month long or only during your luteal phase? 100 mg is not a large dose, particularly if only using it two weeks of the month.

In such a case, the strategy is not to increase someone's salt intake (which would otherwise cause more dehydration), but to boost aldosterone levels, which will subsequently increase sodium retention.

2014年11月27日 · Aldosterone typically needs to be midrange or higher to be sufficient. If you have low blood volume, aldosterone is very likely implicated. Did you try Florinef? How are your electrolytes? Sodium 140-144 and potassium 4.2-4.4? Sodium at 136 is technically normal but I always have symptoms at that level.
