Adjusting the Win Model 70 & Rem Model 7 & 700 Triggers
2005年3月27日 · The Remington trigger: The Remington 700 Trigger has three screws, two in the front and one in the back. The top one on the front is the over travel adjustment. The bottom one on the front is the trigger pull adjustment. the screw on the back is the sear engagement.

They are both suitable for hunting and benchrest shooting, but I've always made a distinction between the two: The Model 70 is "the rifleman's rifle".

The 2 I have it narrowed down to are the Remington 700 SPS and the Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Shadow chambered in either .308 or .300WSM. If you have experience with either or both of these rifles, I would appreciate your feedback, both positive and negative.

They told me that they couldn't trace the serial number but thought is was made in 1994. The rifle is in mint condition. Another question; I'd like to know if they made.

I had many rifles of different origin but soon got rid of most of them years ago, including several Remingtons etc. Now all of my big game hunting rifles are in fact, model 70 Winchesters with all those factory "Bells & Whistles" all ready installed at the factory.

2005年12月15日 · The 710 last I looked was about $324. The scope and rings, or for that matter the Remington name, are NOT worth $70. Walmart also sells the Stevens 200 for $278. I would maybe buy one if it was around $255ish without the scope, That puts it squarely between the Mossy and the Stevens.
