2011年1月19日 · The Sadlak mounts sit a tad bit higher. Regardless which optic you choose, the comb of the standard M21 stock sits too low to get a proper cheekweld, it was designed for irons sights. Plan on gettng a good cheekpad or stock riser or change the stock. Internal elevation adjustment of the optic should be at least 70 moa.

XM21s were then accepted as M21s but some continued to use the AR Tel and some were outfitted with ART IIs. In the later years of the M21, Leupold developed the Ultra M2A and M3A that were to be used on the Brookfield Precision Tool scope mount.

2012年5月16日 · Technically speaking, the original U.S. Army XM21's built from 1968-1970ish for the Vietnam war (about 1750 rifles) likely had NM rear sights as the rifles were built to M14 NM specifications by the AMU unit down in GA. (But of course with the XM21/M21 optics/mount and some had special epoxy impregnated stocks).

They lacked a separate adjustment for magnification and range, it was combined. The ART II scope fixed that issue with two independent rings that separately controlled magnification and range.

Approximately 6200 EBR-RIs were made at Rock Island Arsenal during 2009-2011, and they were in service from 2009 to approximately 2018 as the 7.62 NATO Squad Designated Marksman (SDM) rifle, but I think all of them have now been withdrawn.
