But today, for example, I purschased a brand new and sealed Blackhawk! Tatang fixed blade that has only box, warranty leaflet and ballistic nylon sheath in plastic bag that I use now for storing the knife.

2009年8月11日 · Aside from esee knives I haven't found another manufacturer that makes it easy to IWB carry a fixed blade. But I dont much like esee knives except for my izulas (different discussion) For a larger knife you ideally want the kydex to be modeled a tad higher and the clip to be put right were the handle starts instead of an inch or so down.

2022年5月4日 · Post-‘47 because of the brass finger guard, and pre-‘55 because I read on the internet (so it must be true) that all post-’55 knives had a model on them. I’m also not sure what model it is. It appears to be an L66, but you can tell the bevel on the side of the blade goes higher up the blade than any L66 I can find.
Recommendation? CPM-3V Bushcraft / Survival Fixed Blade.
2021年1月30日 · But I do have (4) different knives form L.T. Wright. All with different steels (A2, O1, AEB-L, 1075) just none with 3V yet....I also have a couple Bark River knives. My two BR knives are good, but they are A2 steel. I wouldn't trust BR knives for the same reasons You mentioned above, and I probably wont buy any more from them.

2015年7月31日 · CA state law requires that all fixed blades be openly carried, LA city ordinance prohibits open carry of an knives and similar items (over 3" blade length). Ergo, you cannot carry your fixed blade in the city of Los Angeles. This doesn't apply to LA County however, go hike somewhere outside city limits.
