Who is she – Falls of Clyde International
The Falls Of Clyde (FOC) was Built in 1878 at Russell and Co’s yard in Port Glasgow (pictured right) and is the first of eight ships but one of the last remaining, finishing her career as a sail driven oil tanker.

The Falls of Clyde International (FOCI) team first started in 2016; all because of a plea for help on a maritime facebook page. David O’Neill (the creator and director of FOCI) saw and answered this plea which was simple: Save the Falls of Clyde (FOC) from being ‘scuttled’ by the Honolulu harbours department.

Opportunities will be offered to the general public, to join a ‘cruise’, to experience the adventure of life aboard a tall ship, where guests can get involved with the operations of the ship by helping to load cargo or climb aloft to unfurl the sail’s in a traditional manner.
Ocean Plastic Recycling – Falls of Clyde International
We also want to help build recycling plants and centres around the world in poorer communities not only creating jobs but also giving people the chance to help clean our oceans. The ship will be equipped with hoists and storage, capable of holding many tons of nets.
