Only slowly dosed for 3 day But decided to stop before something more bad arises. I’ve been noticing the “Dino” since then. Phosphates are now barely detectable, probably from waste-away.

2017年2月4日 · Can’t imagine I’d need to image many things smaller than this. I use the Swift Stellar 1-T Pro Compound Microscope. 40x is pretty good. This scope came with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x objectives. It's still difficult for me to get great videos and pics at 100x. I've only recently got into microscopy a couple months ago so I'm still learning.

2018年5月4日 · The Flagellum of a dinoflagellate is difficult to see with the magnifications we are using. It also requires playing with the condenser of the microscope and high magnification. The movement of the species along with the tell-tale sesame seed morphology speaks to dinoflagellates- ostreopsis species. Aug 27, 2018. #13.

2019年1月15日 · Five nassarius snails and five Turbo Snails have not died yet. The symptoms improved after 48 hours of illumination off and UV-c application. However, when the lights were turned on again and UV-c was removed, it reoccurred. And I added GFO because I thought it was Diatom. Look at my microscope picture and tell me what it is.

2018年6月23日 · As it is, your rock is almost totally bare. This provides a nice white, almost-sterile, PO4-laden substrate for algae to settle on. Couldn't be more ideal for them. Your CUC is OK in the mix you have (maybe cancel the hermits) but you probably need 2x or 3x more in numbers to patrol all that naked rock!
