2008年4月1日 · Currently thinking about purchasing an OLED TV as a monitor, as I've been using a TV as a PC monitor for years now. Is burn in common with OLED TV's? That is my main concern at the moment, I'm not using my PC all day, I only use it for like 4 hours maximum a day, with the occasional PC gaming.

2008年11月15日 · It's a great TV. Aside from going OLED, the biggest thing that limits it is the 60Hz refresh and lack of variable refresh rate support. Those issues are largely concerns for gaming on them rather than anything else. As a standard TV, I'd certainly hold off until I can get ahold of something that would be a massive upgrade visually. OLED, etc.

2022年1月4日 · When it comes to larger 120hz or better VRR/g-sync/free-sync monitors which up til now most OLED gaming screens have been since they have mostly been TV's , I suspect a lot of people sit at lower than 60 PPD which will increase the overall aggressiveness of the pixel structure to your eyes making pixels more obvious.

2022年1月4日 · Damn man you'd really take the 240 to 144hz hit that easy. I think it's the QD-OLED's biggest selling point. I wonder what the state of the PG42UQ is now. It will still be brighter than the C4 (basically 2x as bright in content on 10% window vs QD-OLED) and only down 6hz while avoiding all the TV crap. Matte though.

A 49" 4K QD-OLED with 144Hz would've been a good upgrade from my CX but so far it looks like in the 4K space, anything below 55" has nothing exciting coming out for 2023. LG's G3 lineup and Samsung's 4K QD-OLED TV's all start at 55".
