I had a bad experience with an older preasurized alcohol stove on our old boat. Someone suggested I try the alcohol stove for a season first. I did, and still have the alcohol stove. Its great, easy to use, reliable and safe.

1999年12月2日 · Two Kinds of Alcohol Stoves I've had both an Origo non-pressurized alcohol stove that I installed on my first boat, and a Seward pressurized alcohol stove that was installed at delivery on my '87 C-30, and was fairly happy with both. If I read your post below correctly, you don't have an Origo non-pressurized stove.

2001年10月25日 · Let me start by saying that I have a pressurized alcohol stove on our '76 C27 with no oven. Its just the two burner Princess model. My understanding is that the pressurized alcohol stoves have pluses and minuses to them, like everything else. The big risk is flareups of the alcohol if too much is permitted to be exposed by excess pressure, etc.

2023年10月8日 · The stove is discontinued, and there were reports of leaks at the butane canister seal. We never experienced the issue, but as a precaution, we sent the unit back to Kenyon for rebuild. The advice given was to add a drop of oil to the tip of the butane canister when inserting it, and to not leave the canister in after use.

2002年12月6日 · The alcohol stove in my 81 H27 wasn't working so I decided to overhaul it. I've put in a new pump assembly and burner re-build kits. However, there is a filter that goes into the bottom of the burner assembly and I can't get the old ones out, and I think they may have been the major problem all along.
