Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) is the only national Vietnam veterans organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families. By the late 1970s, it was clear the established veterans groups had failed to make a priority of the issues of concern to Vietnam veterans.

The VVA Veteran | Vietnam Veterans of America
Veterans who served in the U.S. armed forces on active duty (for other than training purposes) in the Republic of Vietnam between November 1, 1955, and May 7, 1975, or in any duty location between August 5, 1964, and May 7, 1975, are encouraged to join Vietnam Veterans of America by filling out the membership application here.
