2007年8月16日 — You can't play Mark I or III cartridges on a Sega Master System without an adapter and removing/replacing the BIOS. And if you play a Mark III game with FM sound on a US SMS, you'll only get the non-FM soundtrack. You can play Mark III cards on a US Power Base Converter the same way, but you can't play Mark I anything on a US Power Base Converter.

2009年7月5日 — The Mark III works fine through its AV connection, but nothing at all happens when I try to plug in the RF switch. Same with the SG-1000. They both power on, but don't display anything through RF. When I say nothing happens, I mean NOTHING. The RF is fine with the PCE, but when used with the Mark III or SG-1000 the TV doesn't even flicker.

2006年12月14日 — The next step after that is trying to get the Mark III system itself so I can play the other Mark III paddle games, especially Megumi Rescue, which I played on my modded Xbox via the Meka emulator, and it was tons of fun. I actually didn't do too poorly using the analog Xbox controller, but the paddle would be the way to go. But one step at a time.

2016年6月13日 — The SEGA Mark III, Famicom, and if I can get a hold of one, the Apple Pippin are of particular interest on the unusual side. On the more common side, I am looking forward to the Game Cube and to maybe doing a couple of very small Dreamcast VMU paintings, since the hardware in the original paintings is meant to look about actual size.

2007年1月9日 — However, any JP games with FM sound won't have the FM sound work on US or Euro systems, unless you manages to find and insert the FM chip in there as a mod. The SMS and Mark III games, alonge ith the Sg1000 and SC3000 games (Mark 1 and 2) have the same pinout as the Mark 3 and should work with an adapter in a US system, iirc.

2010年6月18日 — Thanks, I'll look into the Japanese Master System and the Mark III. There's two reasons I'm drawn to the SG-1000. I have all of the US-released Sega systems in their original boxes, and thought it would be cool to have the full set (because all of them have a nice amount of great games).
