The hangman is EXTREMELY cheap (6.25 bmats per gun) and still can store 20 per crate. Its time to kill is very fast and also has a 45% chance to one shot which is nice. The ammo also isn't really a problem either as its cheap to make and can just be brought with the guns. Its two big weaknesses are the low ammo and short range.
