Disease-causing bacteria found in this toothpaste brand, FDA says
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said disease-causing bacteria were found in certain Tom’s of Maine toothpaste products. In a letter to Colgate-Palmolive dated Nov. 5, but released on Tuesday, the agency said the water supply at the facility in Sanford, Maine, was contaminated with several types of bacteria.
