Nice pier. You can walk the pier free if you’re staying at the hotel. Store is very high but good selection. Didn’t see anyone catch anything during the evening hours. Kathryn C的完整评论

I would call Double Tree and ask your question. Many years ago fishing poles could be rented for about $8.00, but not sure what the rules are now that the pier has been rebuilt. Guests at the Double Tree can walk on the pier for free, but there is a cost for non-guests.

The pier was significantly damaged by a hurricane. In the process of being rebuilt. Also the pier at the State Park is closed for repairs. Yes you would need license.

The pier was mostly destroyed by the hurricane and only a small section remains. It is supposed to be rebuilt but the owners are waiting on additional funding to make it happen. Currently …

The pier was mostly destroyed by the hurricane and only a small section remains. It is supposed to be rebuilt but the owners are waiting on additional funding to make it happen. Currently you should be able to fish off the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier which is just down the beach from Springmaid and the 2nd Ave pier should also be available. Check out the Myrtle Beach State Park online for details.
