Is it certain that Kodak Matsuri is taking place on Oct. 22 this year (2019)? I understand that’s the date that the coronation of the new emperor is expected to take place. Is that likely to cause the event to be moved or cancelled?

I had to ask my friend from Japan to confirm, but the Emperor's coronation should be in May (they have increased their 'Golden Week' to 10 days of celebration and holidays). So October 22nd shouldn't have an issue. Also, the 22nd is important for the Jidai Matsuri celebration, so I don't think the date will change, it might even be larger this year as a celebration.
