While we have a cover for the boat, we typically will only use it about 1 time per year as the showers are normally short lived here in the rain shadow, and the cover restricts the viewing area. Once installed, it must be used for the entire day of tours. Plan to be in an open air boat, and we do have parkas to loan out, or cruiser suits for our Whale Watch Tours.

There are two tours, the One Hour Jet Boat Tour takes place in a relatively protected area. The Captain would be able to notify you in advance if there are waves, which would be kicked up on windy days. On the Whale Watching Tours we travel throughout the Salish Sea, which is a protected waterway, but there are waves. We have taken over 200,000 passengers on our tours, and only 2 people have gotten sea sick because of the Catamaran Design of our boat. We hope this helps!
