Has anyone who has visited Jakarta Aquarium ever visited Yokohama's Hakkeijima and/or Osaka's Kaiyukan (both in Japan) before? How's Jakarta Aquarium compared to those aquariums? How does it fare to Jakarta's Sea World? I really love aquariums and planning to visit this one in near future, I'm just curious to what should I be expecting.

Well i dont think you can compare jakarta aquarium with sea world...or even osaka kaiyukan. Jakarta aquarium consists of two floors, but its smaller compared to jakarta sea world (obviously because it's located inside a mall). I just went there to see the penguins. But i can say i'm impressed with the interiors, they're nice. They also have a huge tank filled with big stingrays, which located on the lower grounds, but there's a glass floor where you can see whats down below. All in all...its a nice place to visit with your kids. You can shop while educating your kids.
