The perseids are showing up now in southern ontario. Is the beach at port Dover safe to go to at night to watch for meteors after 11pm?

I suspect it should be fine. Not sure how much light pollution there will be. Probably not much. End of the pier by the lighthouse might be good--but then again the lighthouse …
